■Asuka IRIE
My works revolve around the "coexistence" and "diminishment" of human beings, animals and plants.

Underneath the beauty and splendor of the motifs lie the cruelty and transience of life.
Beauty and ugliness. Joy and sorrow. Light and darkness.
These works embody the harmony of such opposites.
I wish to deliver memorable works that will evoke the interest and feelings of all who view them.

■Guide of exhibition

　The exhibition will showcase new works by doll artist, Chapuri. Chapuri sees each doll as her daughter, painstakingly crafting each doll to put a soul in each of them. Chapuri's  dolls are fascinating, bearing sensual beauty intertwined with nature. We invite you to enter the world of Chapuri and be mesmerized by these dolls yourself.

　This is the debut exhibition by Daisuke Ida, a promising artist currently enrolled in Tokyo National University of the Arts, one of the oldest and most prestigious art schools in Japan. Ida has a strong passion for research. To perfect this piece of work, he sought out a shoe craftsman to teach him about heels. The shiny brass heel on the smooth marble foot is reminiscent of Michelangelo's work, representing both transiency and pain - a single misstep and it shatters.

●神尾和由はイタリア、ギリシャに20年以上在住していました。
油彩で描かれた褐色の風景はよく見ると日本人にはなじみの薄い異国の風景です。しかし神尾和由の描く世界はいつも懐かしく落ち着く雰囲気をかもしだしてくれます。
そのルーツは瀬戸に辿りつくのかもしれません。土と共に生きる、陶土の町で育った作家は土に対して特別な思いがあると言います。
二つの故郷の空気が詰まった温かい作風は、まるで作家の人柄を映しだしているようです。

●見崎彰広は東京芸大の日本画の出身ですが、現在は版画に魅了されリトグラフ作品で心象風景を描いています。
画面の漆黒の中には無限の空間が感じられます。
この空間を旅をするように…

高橋亜弓の新作を展示致します。
高橋亜弓の描く人体は独特のホルムで絡み合っています。しかし嫌らしさはないのです。透明感溢れる世界は清楚な中に色っぽさを含んでいて、人体であり人体ではない、まるで仏が踊っているかのような霊妙な静けさが感じられます。 薄い紙に刷った木版画を何枚も層にすることにより、後ろの紙が透けて手前の紙が浮かび上がります。 ゆっくりと、迫ってくる作品の中の主人公が心地よい緊張感を与えてくれます。

Guide of exhibition

"VENUS set" and "Frottage and watercolor work" are exhibited in 1975.

I will open these to the public after an interval of 35 years.
The frottage work is very unusual in Masuo Ikeda's work.
Masuo Ikeda who goes over to the United Statesthe influence is undertaken in the United States the pornography of just the opening.
A bold, shocking women who moved on space stirred up Masuo Ikeda's creation power.
"The prostitute is changed into the angel. "
Masuo Ikeda said solving.
A strong medicine is put and transcribed.
It is drawn politely by using the watercolor for it.
However, Masuo Ikeda's body caused abnormality by using the medicine.
Thus, it was not possible to chase it ..no abandonment...
Moreover, the problem of the copyright of the magazine has surfaced, too. Anyway, it was possible to produce only at a little period.

Kenji Kitagawa　Copperplate picture masterpiece exhibition
～1972-1983～
Dates: December　１ – １８, 11：00～18：00

Kenji Kitagawa's valuable debut exhibition revives in the winter of this year.

1972?It was produced until 1982, and hard-to-find masterpieces were collected.

The one-man show in Nihonbashi Takashimaya in September this year is developed and a new exhibition in eight places in the Japanese whole country is being developed only with the river.

The starting point of Kenji Kitagawa who keeps always evolving is here.
